Dress code

Formal, Garden party, Summery. Much of the event will take place on grass, keep this in mind when choosing shoes. And no white dresses please!

Travel & Transport to Devon

There is very limited public transport around the venue, so we would encourage car rental where possible.

The following information will provide you some guidance on public transportation, but keep in mind that all of it needs to be booked at least 2-3 weeks in advance.

If you are not driving and coming from within the UK, the nearest train station is Tiverton Parkway. This is a 30 mins drive to the venue (taxis are available from the station, but they need to be booked ahead of time.) There is a bus stop at the station but this runs infrequently.

When arriving internationally there are a few available airports. Bristol and Exeter are the closest airports (1.5h and 1h respectively) however flight options are limited. Bus transportation from these airports is likely available to South Molton.

Realistically most flights will arrive to one of the London Airports (Luton, Stanstead, Heathrow etc.) This will require you to make your way to London and take the train from Paddington to Tiverton Parkway. We can provide details on how to do this for anyone unfamilliar. This will take around 3-4 hours. There are buses available from London to South Molton which are slightly cheaper if pre-booked (the closest town to the wedding, however these can be unreliable, take around 6 hours and run infrequently.

Accommodation

There are several Bed and Breakfasts (BnBs) and holiday lets in the locality which can be booked for accommodation. As July is a popular time for holidays in Devon please book this soon. We can advise on some recommended places. Tiverton will offer a larger selection of accommodation, including a reasonably priced Premier Inn.

The George Hotel in South Molton has been completely booked out by us. You should already be aware if there is a room there allocated to you.

Coaches (Busses) on the day of the Wedding

For our guests staying in South Molton, we have arranged a coach (bus) to transport guests on the day. These are as follows:

South Molton (The George Hotel) to Church, 12:00 AM.

Church to Kerscott Farm, approx. 14:30 PM.

Kerscott Farm to South Molton (The George Hotel), approx. 11:00 PM
